INSTALLATION OF DISTRICT GRAND MASTER OF THE DISTRICT GRAND LODGE OF THE BAHAMAS, S.C.

I write to inform you that BROTHER DAVE RANDOLPH MUNROE, BSC, MBA, MHR, JP., was appointed to the Office of District Grand Master of the District Grand Lodge of The Bahamas by the Grand Lodge of Scotland with effect from 5th February 2026. Attached for your information is a copy of the Official Photograph and Masonic Curriculum Vitae of Brother Munroe.

Brother Munroe will be installed on the date of his 25th Anniversary of initiation into Freemasonry, Saturday, March 7th, 2026.   The Installation Ceremony will be held at the Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, and will be conducted by Brother Alexander Moncrieff, Grand Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Scotland. A weekend of events has been planned to mark this significant occasion for the District Grand Lodge of the Bahamas.  The events are as follows:

• Friday, March 6^th, 2026 – Welcome Reception with Cultural Show – Historic Fort Charlotte – Nassau, Bahamas – 7:00 pm. Note: There will be a $20.00 entry fee with a cash bar.
• Saturday, March 7th, 2026 – Installation Ceremony at 3:00 pm – Imperial Ballroom, Atlantis Resort – Paradise Island, Bahamas. Installation Photographs will commence at 1:30 pm, and Brethren are to be seated by 2:45 pm.
• Installation Banquet – immediately following the Installation Ceremony at the Imperial Ballroom. – Atlantis Resort – Paradise Island, Bahamas. Banquet Tickets are $160.00 each and include the ticket to the Sunday Brunch.
• Sunday, March 8^th, 2026 – Church Service – St. Ambrose Anglican Church, Gladstone & Carmichael Roads, Nassau, Bahamas, 9:30 am.  Luncheon – Collins House, Shirley Street, Nassau, Bahamas – 3:00 pm. 

The District Grand Master-Designate extends an invitation to the Right Worshipful Master and Brethren of your Lodge to attend his installation.
